Getting Started

06/04/2020

The articles and videos from this week along with my introduction to COVA from 5302 has enlightened me on the importance of capturing a unique log of projects outside of your resume. I struggled in 5302 because of the autonomy that was granted through the COVA model. The COVA model allows true ownership and choice for the end product. It allows you the opportunity to fail, grow and challenge yourself more than we've been allowed to do with our other courses. It allowed me to take ownership of my learning and authentic products. Which caused me to be more invested in my work. My growth mindset was very much challenged last course but I prevailed and am proud of my eportfolio. I plan to continue to update my portfolio as a true refelction of my performance, although I understand that it will forever be a work in progress, I am excited to see the shape it takes. Just like eportfolios, technology is ever evolving. I think technology is unique is a sense that it can be used in so many different ways. Over the past few months, we have seen it transform into a magical approach that technology aficionados, like myself, have hoped for. I excited to continue to build my depth of knowledge and help others along the way! If you have any questions my email address is mford12@lamar.edu and my eportfolio is thefordfocus.webnode.com
