Hi! My name is Marissa Ford and I am excited to be a New Teacher Coach! I am transitioning into a campus instructional technology specialist. This is my 9th year in education. I have previously taught 2nd, 3rd, STEAM and been an Instructional Technology Specialist. I am eager to make this my best year yet! I'm most looking forward to coaching teachers to be confident in their instruction, become more eco-friendly and learn more about technology! I am the youngest of 3 kids and a proud Army brat! I split my time between two continents growing up! I have always had a love for Math and Science and spent most of my time "figuring things out." My favorite childhood memory is reading to my Grandma. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2012 with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and am currently working towards my masters in Educational Technology Leadership and Educational Administration. I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and in undergrad I was involved in Orientation Programs, Jack Camp, Driving Jacks, Alpha Phi Omega and a host of other organizations in undergrad!
